The pre and post natal course and qualification provides learners with the knowledge, confidence and skills needed to be able to programme safe and effective exercise and nutritional considerations/recommendations for both pre and postnatal clients, taking into account the physiological and biomechanical changes associated with pregnancy and the key health and safety considerations for pre and postnatal clients taking part in physical activity..

 

This qualification is Ofqual accredited and accredited and supported by both CIMSPA (The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity) and REPS (Register of Exercise Professionals). 

Course Structure & Units

The Active IQ Level 3 Award in Supporting Pre and Post Natal Clients with Exercise and Nutrition qualification has two units:

✔ Unit 1: Physical activity, health and nutritional considerations for pre and postnatal clients..
✔ Unit 2: Programming safe and effective exercise session for pre and postnatal clients.
